Accelero Overview

This document presents the features, configuration procedures, operation instructions, and all the knowledge required to use the ACCELERO system.

It covers the basic concepts of the solution, its architecture, core operations, and procedures to solve the most common issues.

Overview

ACCELERO is a complete access control system that can run in the cloud or on-premises (dedicated local server). The solution provides centralized access management, integration with various devices, and advanced features for security and control.

Basic Concepts

The ACCELERO system is made up of four distinct and independent parts that work together in an integrated way:

TODO: Add Diagram

Include an architecture diagram showing the communication between:

  • Pages Server
  • Background Services
  • MQTT Broker
  • Physical Devices

1. Pages Server

This is the "visible" part of the system — operation screens, self-service terminals, reports, and dashboards. Always accessed through a web browser.

Key features:

  • Responsive web interface
  • Monitoring dashboards
  • People and vehicle management
  • Reports and analytics
  • System settings

2. Background Services

These are the behind-the-scenes services that provide the intelligence required for the solution to operate:

  • Databases
  • Online access validator
  • Automatic backup routines
  • Event processing
  • Device synchronization

3. MQTT Broker

Responsible for the actual communication between the server and the physical devices. It uses the MQTT protocol to ensure reliable, real-time communication.

Characteristics:

  • Bidirectional communication
  • Low latency
  • High reliability
  • Support for thousands of devices

4. Physical Devices

All access controllers and other devices that communicate with the ACCELERO server:

  • Access controllers (Neon, etc.)
  • Biometric readers
  • Turnstiles and barriers
  • Cameras with facial recognition
  • QR Code readers

Installation Modes

Cloud Installation

TODO: Add Image

Include a diagram illustrating the cloud architecture:

  • Iongrade server
  • Internet connection
  • Access terminals
  • Physical devices

Characteristics:

  • No local server required
  • Maintenance and updates handled by Iongrade
  • Constant automatic backup
  • High availability
  • Access from anywhere

Access address:

https://[installation].accelerobr.com.br

Each installation has:

  • A unique internet address
  • Dedicated background services
  • Isolated database
  • Its own MQTT broker
  • Fully isolated environment

Requirements:

  • Stable internet connection (10MB minimum recommended)
  • Up-to-date web browser
  • Devices with internet access

On-Premises Installation

TODO: Add Image

Include a diagram illustrating the on-premises architecture:

  • Local server
  • Local network
  • DNS configuration
  • Devices on the network

Characteristics:

  • Dedicated local server
  • Full control over infrastructure
  • Data stored locally
  • Maintenance and backup are the customer's responsibility

Access address:

https://accelero
Caution

Direct connections to the IP address are not allowed, to ensure data security and encryption.

You must configure the local DNS server so that the name accelero is properly resolved to the server's IP.

Connection Requirements

Internet

For the cloud version, an internet connection is required for both:

  • Operation terminals (computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones)
  • Physical devices (controllers, readers, cameras)

Recommendations:

  • Internet link of at least 10MB
  • Link redundancy (when possible)
  • Stability is critical: a slower but stable link is preferable to a fast but unstable one

Supported Browsers

The system is compatible with the main web browsers:

  • Google Chrome (recommended)
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Safari
Tip

For the best experience, always use the latest version of Google Chrome.

Basic Connection Test

To check that the ACCELERO server is working properly:

1. Browser Access

Go to your installation's address and verify that you are redirected to the login page.

TODO: Add Screenshot

Include a screenshot of the Accelero login screen.

2. Connectivity Test

If you run into issues, use the ping command:

ping instalacao1234.accelerobr.com.br

If there is no response, check:

  • Address typed correctly
  • Active internet connection (cloud installation)
  • DNS configuration (on-premises installation)
  • Firewall is not blocking the connection

3. Initial Login

Every system is delivered with a master user already registered. Use the provided credentials to validate access.

Security

The ACCELERO system uses:

  • HTTPS for all communications
  • Encryption of data in transit
  • User authentication
  • Permission control by profile
  • Detailed operation logs

Next Steps

After validating access to the system, see:
