Dashboard
The Dashboard is the home page after login, offering a summarized view of the operational state of the selected site.
Navigation path: Side menu → Surveillance → Dashboard
Site selection
When you access the Dashboard, the system prompts you to select a site in the Site Selector (sidebar). The metrics displayed are filtered by the active site.
Displayed indicators
Active alerts
Main card showing the number of unresolved alerts on the selected site. The counter is updated in real time via WebSocket.
Recent alerts
List of the 5 most recent alerts for the site, displaying:
- Alert type and severity
- Current status (Active, Acknowledged, Resolved)
- Trigger time
- Zone and source device information
Real-time updates
The Dashboard receives automatic updates via WebSocket when:
- A new alert is created
- An alert is acknowledged
- An alert is resolved (manually or automatically)
There is no need to reload the page — the counters and list update instantly.
Analytics
In addition to the Dashboard's operational summary, ION Guard offers Analytics views with consolidated site metrics (KPIs, alert response performance, device health, and activity by zone). These analytics are provided by the tracking modules enabled on the site — the base platform provides the analytics components, and each module (for example, Synapsys) presents its own panels.
Analytics requires the View analytics permission, available to the Platform Admin, Tenant Master, Tenant Admin, and Operator profiles, and depends on a tracking module enabled on the site. The set of metrics varies by module. The Cold Room module, for example, brings its own analytics — see Cold Room › Analytics and Reports.
